FYI, tsn.ca has a few highlights up from the game in their Highlights section for those who missed it.

It's the Flames fault for forcing it to be wedged this was late in the planning stages, not the NHL's.

Though I am pleased it was on a different day, the real NHL game should have the ice in perfect condition for them.
Yup. The NHL had nothing at all to do with the alumni game. That was all the work of the Flames laumni, and Jim Peplinski, who deserves a massive round of applause for putting it together.

Best part of the game, the music, they played all the old stuff they use to play in the 80s and 90s.

Clapping Mickey Mouse hands on the replay screen? A barefoot stomping, kicking up dust?
If not, FAIL.

I live across the street from the stadium, but don't have tickets.

Am I allowed in to the tail gating area? I noticed a lot neat things setup - thought it would be fun to go check it all out before heading back home to watch the game.

Is that allowed? When does that "party" kick off?

The ticket only gets you into the stadium, you can get on the grounds with ease. I went in there to get my ticket for the alumni game yesterday morning and was told security was tight (when I drove in off University Dr.) and walked right in without having a boo said to me.

Alright. I didn't manage to get a ticket, but I might as well go have a beer in the cold

Thanks for the link, just watching it now. Even though I already know the final score, its still fun to watch (who really cares who wins anyways?).

Just got to the Flames 3rd goal, with the Nieuwy to Roberts dish for the goal.
