I can adjust the ringtone volume no problem, and when playing music or a video I can use the in-app volume controls, but I cannot figure out how to do it for a phone call.
Try to double tap the home button to bring up the task switcher keep sliding it to the left till you see the volume control.

Many thanks!

I don't have the headset, but borrowed one from a co-worker and it worked like a charm. Also seems like the task switcher will work as well.

1. Make a call and once connected, go to 'Settings ->Sounds'.
2. Slide the Ringer and Alerts volume slider back and forth and then set it to maximum (far right).
3. Return to your call, your volume should be set to maximum.

Worked for me on my old 3gs running iOS 5.1

Edit: That task switcher method sounds the most elegant. I'll have to remember that.

Bump time!

Anyone know of any good ways to remove iPhone glass w/o a suction cup?

Replaced the glass on my phone late last night and didn't full check to see if everything was working, and ear speaker seems to be not functioning. I assume one of the connections was not quite right, and would rather not wait until I get home to fix it.

It's pryable and I have done it when being very careful but it's definitely not as safe as it is with a suction cup and you will most likely end up with scratches/gouges along the prying edge.

Wait for a suction cup or create a vacuum with your mouth and suck it off

BUMMMMPPPPPPPPPPPP

Any other local (Calgary) places besides that iphixit.ca that fix/replace iPad 2 screens? A do-it-yourself job doesnt qualify here.
