What a miserable list of teams that is. Just re-sign with the Islanders FFS if you're actually considering those teams. Man, I'm going to be so pissed if he signs out west, or especially with a California team.

If he signs with the sharks that would be crazy. Pretty much a rebuild on the fly without missing the playoffs..

I think he will re-sign with the NYI but if for some reason he doesn't I would put all my money on Toronto.

That's better than any Cali or western team, but still would be annoying. Hopefully it would at least #### the Leafs cap structure going forward.

Yeah I think the plan is to re-sign in NY but he's doing the right thing seeing what other teams have to offer as he's got this far already and may as well see it out and maybe drive up the Islanders offer in the process.

Sharks....its text book on how to be a GM. Always keep your team competitive because getting in playoffs with a decent team is every year is better than missing a bunch and then having a window (eff rebuilds).
And don't force trades for top players....let them come to you. Treliving is chasing a RW or chasing a 1st rounder....he is going to overpay like he did with Hamonic.

Stone for Jordan Weal plus a pick would be nice. get a decent right shooting depth forward, a pick hopefully in round 2 or 3, plus a spot for Ras.

Still stings that the Flames had him at their development camp, and never snagged him. Andersson, Myers, Fox would be probably the deepest pool of high end right shot D prospects in the entire NHL.

Good call. I truly believe Jordan Weal will break out on a team with fewer than four top 6 calibre right shot forwards. (Carter/Brown/Gaborik/Toffolli in L.A. then Giroux/Simmonds/Konecny/Patrick in PHI)

Actually I'm not too interested in much from the flyers.
Another team like st louis that seems to be looking for the same things we are while having an abundance of d/d prospects to trade.
Patrick is an obvious target but why would the flyers give up on him so soon?
Starting to wonder if these rumors are being generated because Brad is talking to trade rivals rather than partners. Easier to bargin if you know what the other guy is thinking too

Stone for Weal would be an ok depth move. Still would be hoping for an upgrade on the top line but Weal is at least well ahead of our own RW prospect pool.
