ND looking a LOT better than I thought on the road at OSU.

Maybe Kelly leaving wasn't a bad thing afterall?

Georgia absolutely wrecking Oregon was another surprise for me... I knew they'd win, but I figured maybe "only" by 3 scores...

Utah at Florida another game looking to be pretty interesting wrt to preseason expectations (Utah was a pick many pundits on the Athletic had as the 4th CFP team)

I’m honestly shocked that ND is staying in this. This program has been defined in the last two decades by blowing any and all big games vs top 10 opponents. A welcome surprise, but a surprise nonetheless. Just gotta keep their foot on the gas in the 2nd half.

so far, they have been limiting Shroud for sure...

Golden looking like it on D right now.

edit: until that dumb late double safety blitz that lead to the TD...totally didn't need to do that as Shroud was struggling

yeah, that was a heck of a game... was kinda dull for the first 3 quarters, but the 4 quarter was incredible.

the series of events in that last 2 minutes was unbelievable.

Not a fan of either team, but it was a fun game as a CFB fan

The ending of that game is crazy. Watching the end I thought this game has to end with a missed XP.

Also not sure if it means anything in the end, but Boutte deleted everything LSU from his IG.

In a situation like that, I'm surprised they didn't go for 2 to win the game. LSU had all the momentum, and going for a tie to get to OT is a bit of a let down.

What a comedy of errors in the last two minutes.

Muffed punt.
Inexplicable pitch and then fumble when game should have been over.
Blocked extra point

You only get that in college football.

Especially when the extra point is no gimme.

It's college though, it most definitely is a gimme since they still kick a 20 yard EP. Even ignoring that though, it's always harder to justify going for it in college because of the OT system. Outside of the playoffs you can still not even get the ball in the NFL, college guarantees it. But the decision to have a pitch on 3rd and goal from the 1 is easily one of the stupider decisions I can remember in recent history. Take the knee and kick the FG, or try a QB sneak...literally the only way something bad can happen there is taking the ball out of the QBs hands, and sure enough...

But yeah that must have been a fun last two minutes of the game for over and LSU bettors. OT basically guarantees the over (was 51) and LSU -4 is still alive. Instead, sad trombone.

the Bama/Texas game has been excellent so far...tied 10-10 halfway through the 2nd

the Texas QB Ewers was slinging it until getting knocked out on a roughing call... should be fascinating to see if the new QB is able to rally the troops

The Gods correctly punish Texas for cowering there. You aren't beating Alabama with FGs in that situation, you had them rattled, go for the touchdown.

That's a horrible roughing the passer call. That should be a safety.

Alabama might rally here, but they have looked absolutely horrible and should drop out of the top five even if they win.

Blatant face mask missed by the refs might have cost Texas a TD.

That's a helluva throw by Young to Gibbs for that go-ahead TD

Game over. What’s that three red zone field goals? You don’t often beat the #1 team in the country with that. Very solid effort for 3.5 quarters though

Wow. Turnover on downs. Texas can steal this now.
