Rumors that EA may post-pone the beta. People have found ways to download the beta from Rammer's profile on Xbox before it was available. EA then posted this status about it:

The #NHL16 EASHL Beta is not officially live. We are working through technical issues and will provide an update shortly.
PSN has already done its store update, so I'm not sure if it will be available today at all for PS4.
