Absolutely, but good music wasn't exclusive to them. Good pause music was Rare and Rare alone.

Vouchers are available again. They're a good way to save a few bucks on new releases. An online membership is required though.

Speaking of Amazon, do they still ship games so they arrive on release day? Or is it better to go with EB Games if I want to pay on the day/evening of release?

Planning my May 12th Tears of the Kingdom evening a bit early, I know.

I've been getting new releases on release day from Video Game Trader with no issues. Give them a call and they can reserve one for you.

I know some people still love physical copies, I'm one of them (and for Switch they're definitely better than digital IMO), but if you want it as early as possible then digital is the way to go. It will pre-download for you and then unlock the second it releases.

But if you plan on just playing on launch then you should be okay to find a physical copy on day 1.

My desire to support the local shop is conflicted with driving to Bonavista from Tuscany.

Metroid Prime Remastered announced and released! Only $50 on the eShop, physical release to follow on Feb. 22. I grabbed it, this is absolutely a Switch must play — it’s not just a quick and dirty HD remaster, they’ve completely re-done the graphics and it looks fantastic.

Oh and it’s already one of the best games ever made, so there’s that too.

Yeah it's way more of a Remake than a re-master for sure.

Between that announcement being Shadow dropped, and the same day release of Game Boy and Game Boy Advanced for retro consoles it was a good day for the Switch.
