My camera only frozen up twice and that was in -50 weather. It's damn tough! The weather is warmer now so I won't be facing the same issue's but I have to admit that it held it's own and I really did put it to the test!

Thanks MJK!

Bromley Square is a building with a lot of issues (at least when I lived there) but I never got sick of being outside checking things out and waving at tourists in the tower.

Bromley Square surely deserves it's own thread one day. I have at least half a dozen good stories, ranging from the bizarre, to the gruesome, to the downright odd.

Ah yes good 'ol Bromley. If you are someone that has lived in Calgary for any length of time surely you have either lived their yourself or know someone that has.

I never lived in the Bromley, but I lived across the street in the Mount Royal House, that was not pretty either. The CN train going right beside the building! What a dump that building was.

Someone let me on to the wonders of High Dynamic Range... I ended up trying it on a bracket exposure I had, but at far less than the +- stops ideal for HDR

The Apostles, Victoria, Australia (chopped down resolution)

One of the best HDR images I've seen (not mine):

^ Those are great HDRs. Way better results that I've gotten trying the same technique. The top one is really amazing. Nice, nice work.

We had a really cool sunset here last weekend. Sky was all purple, as you can see.

Those HDR shots are amazing. They've inspired me to do a whole lot of looking into HDR imaging in the hopes that I can do a little myself.

I guess I'll kick start the new may long edition...

Here are a select few shots from the trip down to Waterton. I still have to go through them all... but here are a few anyway. I'll put more up as they come.

That picture of Times Square has to be one of the greatest pictures I've ever seen.

A few select pictures from my trip around some former Yugoslavian countries, just got back yesterday.

Central Ljubljana, Slovenia

Hvar town, Island of Hvar, Croatia

Kotor, Bay of Kotor, Montenegro

Budva, Montenegro

Dubrovnik Old town, Croatia

Mostar, Bosnia-Hercegovina

Old men playing chess in central Sarajevo, Bosnia-Hercegovina

Had a really great time. Beautiful scenery in Croatia, some eye opening experiences in Bosnia-Hercegovina. . . really loved it. Except for Turkish toilets, I hate those.
