There's nothing illegal about emulation, and I said nothing about pirating the game. I plan on buying a Switch and BotW because portability is awesome, but at home I will definitely play it in the format that allows the highest quality

EB Games' new console trade-in hype sure paid off. I got $100 back in credit for Paper Mario Color Splash, Mario Tennis Open (3DS) and Legend of Legacy -- three truly broken games. Can't argue with essentially getting my Switch for $299. Plus $8 for Mirror's Edge Catalyst, lol. Nobody wants that game.

I forgot all about that! Interesting idea, will have to watch that.

Looks like another failed attempt at being a mod in the books. Better luck next time.

Sounds like the screen is getting easily scratched up from the dock. What an odd design decision from Nintendo. Also, you should not be looking to apply skins to the system. I was reading a thread on Reddit from a skin manufacturer warning people. Whatever Nintendo coated the system with seems to have a nasty reaction to adhesives.

Spoiler!

Did anyone get their pre-order delivered to Calgary today? It looks like Best Buy and Amazon saved some cash by shipping via ground. Pretty shameful, I pay extra for a prime account.

My bestbuy order has been updated with a delivery date of March 8th. It's annoying how badly Amazon and BestBuy dropped the ball on this for Western Canada.

Also showing March 8th from best buy, but that's just the estimate they always throw in with Canada post, I assume yours was pushed to the same expedited delivery as mine if you check your receipt.

We deliver on weekends now so we may get lucky with a Sunday delivery. Still a load of crap though.

So I got mine and Zelda yesterday. I think it is really cool so far! The transition between docked and undocked is really seamless and impressive. JoyCon controllers don't slide out quite as easily as in the commercials, and they are very tiny.

Zelda is good so far. I just left the 'tutorial' area so now it's really opening up. Hoping I encounter some longer/more challenging puzzle areas soon as the all the wary stuff has been pretty short and simple

First impression: LMAO at Nintendo trying to pass this off as a console-not-a-handheld. Zelda looks great on my TV, but, yeah. This is the "third pillar" all over again, as the Switch is oh so obviously a 3DS replacement as well.

Not sure what you are describing here, expedited means nothing when they had no intent on delivering Friday...Amazon and Bestbuy are both delivering to Calgary via ground, which means days to deliver - this is deliberate. Had I known Amazon's typically hyperfast Prime service was not going to be used for my pre-order, I wouldn't have purchased through them.

My Bestbuy pre-order was scheduled for yesterday, which we all know by now was a lie.

About 2 hours in Zelda, its pretty incredible so far. Just wish I could find weapons that didn't break every 5 mins. Finished the first 4 mini temples and got off the Plateau.

Had my Switch delivered from Amazon (with Prime) just before noon today. So inclined to keep it even if I don't see a reason to.

can anyone describe Zelda a little more...?

What's it like, controls smooth? Looks good? Good story? Good action...?

Not sure I want to commit that much money for one game, but love the Zelda series.

Zelda's controls are good, I'm not used to controlling the camera but after a couple hours its pretty natural. Story seems really good so far, world looks amazing. The fighting and mechanics are great, with a good mix of puzzles and just trying different things when you get hung up.

Hopefully we get one as well. Are you in Calgary? When did you order it?
