I think that’s silly. If people can’t separate real life war from video game war then that’s on them. Sorry, but a video game about war doesn’t minimize or make light of real war. Lame. And it’s not like I was planning to buy the game, although I did. Love Advance Wars on the old gameboy.

I 100%'d Bowser's Fury today and it really was mostly fantastic, great little 6 hour single player open world game. I'm hoping we see the next full 3D Mario at some point this year, it's been a while since Odyssey now.

I'm just assuming -- the longest they ever go between 3D Mario game is like 5-6 years and Odyssey was 2017. There's gotta be something cooking.

There's a new update that lets you organize games into groups. It's about time.

NEw Mario Kart Maps are available for DLC. Kids are currently doing chores to earn it.

In case anyone was looking for an update here I did make the trade and upgraded from the lite to the oled.

Been playing a variety of games for a few days now and have to agree the screen is night and day difference. It’s almost hard to believe how bad the screens on the lite and original switch are. Those machines feel quite dated in comparison.

The oled model just feels more premium and even though I mostly game in handheld, I’m sure it will be nice to occasionally throw it in the dock.

I will say though part of me does miss the form factor of the lite. It really was great for a lot of games.

The new tracks are pretty fun!

Only gripe is they're not all released right now, it's structured as a season pass, so they're releasing them a few at a time over the year or so.

I usually respect when game developers delay their games.
It often means that they are taking the steps necessary to ensure the game is released without an overwhelming about of issues.

Many other companies would just push for the original release date and sell an unfinished product.

There is a youtube video somewhere predicting when BotW 2 *should* actually be coming out based on timelines and promises with respect to BotW. It could be a couple of years out if the same holds true.

Where's the best place to get a switch repaired in calgary? right joycon on sons switch isn't recognized when connected to the switch, works when disconnected.

Bought new joycon and that also doesn't work so I think it's the connectors on the switch head unit.

Thanks

Contact Nintendo support. They have repaired a few broken controllers for me, free of charge. I just had to send it to Vancouver (they provided a shipping label).

I had that happen randomly in the past and usually it goes away after a while.

I had the exact same issue. I had two pairs of joycons and it was happening with both sets connected. Nintendo is actually really good to deal with. I chatted with support, they gave me a price that included shipping both ways, and I sent it on its way along with one joycon on the troublesome side. It was back in about a week and a half. I seem to recall that the cost was about $40 because my warranty had lapsed, which I felt was fair because it included shipping both ways.

I also had a small crack on my back panel, so I left a little sticky note that said I was aware of the crack, hopefully it doesn't impede you when you disassemble it, and not to worry about it. They replaced the back panel at no extra cost.

Previously I had a drifty pro controller. Sent it in for repair and they sent me a brand new one under warranty.
