Yes, so I need $5.95 million in cap space to make it work. I currently project to have $6.71 million in cap space, plus an extra $1.43 million once I buy out Barrie.

Reminder if you've played your last game of the season you can't release players if they have term remaining. Those releases will need to happen in the off-season so they buyouts are against next year.

A reminder you also need to have the cap space for the release. Otherwise basically teams can release players at the end of the year, while going over the cap, but having the buyout apply this year instead of next.
