You can't be a Calgary band without having a horrible cover of Every Rose Has Its Thorn on your set list.

You would never play that at Broken City, and get out alive.

Can I be the guy in the music video who horribly lip-syncs the lyrics and is displaying the complete opposite emotion of the song

I can't sing, play any instruments and have zero rhythm. Think you have a spot open for me?

I used to host an open mic afternoon at a NE Pub about 9 or 10 years ago (Before I had kids), and every new person we would have come up would almost always play Every Rose Has Its Thorn (Horribly). It burned a deep hatred for that song into my soul which only started healing in the last year or so

If there's a horn section, can we call it "The Penetrating Brass?"

I need your notes on that incident for the lyrics. You get a song-writing credit.

This band needs some lady energy now . . .

I should note that I can also play guitar/bass, a bit of harmonica, and sing.

But prefer to take my angst out on the drums.
