Question Best Video Monitoring App For Cellphone

Hi there,

I'm looking to convert one of my Blackberry Priv's into a video/audio monitoring device for our puppy at home.

Any suggestions on good apps to use (for both video/audio) that will live stream that we can view on the internet while we're away from home?

The Blackberry Priv is an Android OS and ideally the app would be relatively cheap (or free), but we do want something that's good quality overall.

Any suggestions would be welcome, thanks!

I use Alfred.
Tried a few different ad supported ones and found it the best for our purposes, so bought the pro version.
I recommend

I have used the AtHome App.
https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/atho...305567000?mt=8

The dummy phone needs the AtHome Streamer app.
https://itunes.apple.com/ca/app/atho...590416158?mt=8

I used it when I was traveling and had my dog in the hotel room. Connected the dummy phone to the hotel wifi. I like that it has a function where you can push audio back, so when my dog was showing signs of stress I could talk to him and calm him down.

Thanks, we're gonna try these both out tonight!

It's tough with a puppy, we've been trying to limit the separation time while still not making her overly reliant on us as well.

It's a fine line, and we feel this sort of thing will really help us out.

Man. What are you going to do when you have kids? Do puppies really need to be watched on CCTV all day?

Haha, not all day. But she's 8 weeks old, I just want to make sure she's okay. She has separation anxiety I just want to be able to make sure she's not super stressed out the first couple of weeks while she acclimatizes to her new home.

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I'm really digging AtHome, I think we'll end up using that thanks for that suggestion!

Is there way you can access the app on a computer vs a phone for viewing or is it phone app only?

You don't typically leave babies at home while at work. And if you did, they wouldn't try and eat your couch.
