This was the original summer blockbuster action movie of my teens, it will always hold a place in my movie collection. It was even my demo movie showing off my Dolby Surround system with 27 inch(!) TV and Special Edition VHS

But damn this movie has gone well beyond double dipping with all the various versions they have released. I'll buy a new one every 5 years or so...

Weirdly I saw T2 (many times) before seeing T1. I actually really enjoyed the original, it may be the most 80s-looking 80s movie I've ever seen. That nightclub near the start is like right out of GTA Vice City, I love it.

Great choices. I was always a big fan of First Blood also.
The Fugitive too.

But T2 and Die Hard were very unique at the time and great experiences in the theatre.

Not a chance. I recently rewatched that and found it boring.

This is legitimately the craziest thing you have ever said on this site.

I still remember waiting in line at south center theater and Larry Day was standing in front of me with a book, reading while waiting for the movie. Man he's tiny.

That movie blew me away, only other movie that had that affect on me on opening night was Aliens.

I remember the marketing for this movie when I was just a little one. I had to wait like 5 years until I was allowed to watch it and wow, it just blew my mind. So many great memorable scenes, like the death of the foster parents, Arnie cutting off his arm, and the epic building explosion.

4th best action movie ever (Road Warrior, Die Hard, Raiders) and 4th best sequel ever (Road Warrior, Empire, Godfather).

I only watched this for the first time on Netflix 5 or 6 years ago.

I was watching with my cat, who got up to pee, came back, then sat down and watched the rest.

Lesson being, T2 is cat approved.

I think you've been bit by a dog and have rabies. Or a head injury

If you ignored all of the awesomeness that is Raiders, and just had to use this one scene, it's still a classic
