It was bound to happen. It's unfortunate since the US site is so much better. Of course there will be work arounds, but will effect the majority of novice computer users.

Damn, that sucks. The content on the Canadian one has gotten a hell of a lot of better than a few years ago but there's still a few shows that I wanted to watch that aren't otherwise available in Canada.

So now I'm forced to illegally download them. Awesome.

This sort of thing comes out every few months saying they are "cracking down" and then nothing ever happens. Realistically, why would they care? If you are paying their subscription fee and using a VPN to get the US version, why would they want to devote resources to essentially reduce their customer base and revenues?

It's all PR really - they continue to "show" they are trying to keep the content in the right country, but they don't really want to fix the problem.
