Default Type C or F plug for iPod

Guys,

I'm on vacation soon to Egypt and they use 220v 50hz. The only electrical device i'm taking with me is my iPod and I will need to charge it. I have read iPods can be charged anywhere 100-240v and on 50 or 60hz, so i'm not concerned about that.

What I do need is a Type C or Type F plug to plug into receptacles over there. Anyone know where I can find one in town cheap?

I have the usb cable from apple, and that goes to the standard north american type A two prong plug. If I can find either a usb driven type C, or a type c that will accept the north american Type A that I can plug into, it would make life super awesome.

Any suggestions?

Thanks

I believe all you need is the European socket to USB power adapter.

Actually let me check my drawer, I might have what you need.

I went to Europe last year and I bought this adapter at london drugs for $10 I think.... I just took the regular north american plug, plugged it into the european adapter and plugged it into the wall.... it was no hassle and worked great.

Thanks for the info guys. Either of those would work for me. A North American > Euro adapter or a USB > Euro. I will check out London Drugs and the Source and some places like that to see if I can find something.

Ya, they're everywhere. Walmart, Zellers, everywhere. Just look in the travel/luggage section. Shouldn't be more than $10 for a plug adapter (not voltage transformer).

I totally have an ipod euro USB plug somewhere in the house but I can't find it right now. I'll keep looking around unless you buy one sometime soon.

When I went to Egypt, I just asked the consierge for one. They brought one up at no charge. Got 2, one for camera and one for iphone.
And you want Type C.
