Babcock doing a great job this period rolling through his lines, down by 2 goals.
I'd be rolling just 2 lines from here on out, myself.

Time taken to drop the puck since the icing call. It should be quick but timetimes teams draw it out.

Islanders fans must be loving this.
Tavares seems like a bit of an ass.

If you're Babcock, how are you not loading up lines and just going for it? If it's me, it's a non-stop diet of some combinations of Matthews / Marner / Tavares / Nylander / Johnsson / ...probably Marleau.

Hahahaha, welp, Nylander was already a whipping boy, and then he gives away the puck for the goal that ices it. I'm pretty sure he's played his last game in that uniform...
... Also, I really, really hope this is the final score.

Pre-2005, the exchange had a huge effect. After the lockout there’s no reason Canadian teams haven’t won. Multiple presidents trophy winners so it’s not like Canadian teams perennially suck. It’s just bad luck.

Come on man, don't be obtuse. Florida and Arizona won't pay for a contender. There's such a fine line between teams in in this cap, parity driven league, but one way to absolutely be out of it more often than not is to spend to the cap floor.
Also, not sure why you put the Sharks in this category. They suck at winning championships but certainly not from a lack of effort in putting one together. Plus they've been to the Cup finals recently.

4-1.
Nylander, inexplicably, tried to deke his way out of his zone with the goalie pulled.

Since 93 only 13 franchises have won the cup. Statistically the odds don't favour a Canadian team especially if you factor in the Oilers suckage and the lack of a franchise in Winnipeg for most of that time.

Boy the shine is really fading on Babcock.
Just so many questionable decisions.

It was really strange to watch. Game 7, 3rd period, down by 2.........you go for it. You don't put Tyler Ennis out anymore. Interested to see his explanation on his strategy in the 3rd.

Damn, Craig Simpson throwing Babs under the bus for failing to play Matthews enough. I mean, I agree with him but that's not something you usually hear.
