That was a regular season slumping Mike Smith special. Basically no room but somehow still found a way in. Bad goal to give up.

No idea what Jake Gardiner was doing there. Just gave it away to nobody. Weird play.

Jake Gardiner is going to get a long term deal over $5 million a season in July and people think Brodie is going to fetch less than a 2nd round pick in a trade.

big, big goal by Johansson

Getting another one in quick succession is a playoff momentum milestone.

I wonder if Johansson called for it and Gardiner thought it was one of his guys?

Either way....good stuff Bruins!!!

Yes.

All the Canadian clubs getting the boot will make this year's result easier to take. Still sucks but no one north of the border fared much better.

Crazy tho; three of the bigger favorites to make the postseason. I would have given the Flames, Jets, and Leafs a 20-25% chance to go all the way and yet here we are yet again... the last one looking like another first round casualty. Now a full quarter century since the last cup willing team in Canada.

Still Flames or bust... the hell with the rest of Canada!

25th straight non-Canadian Stanley Cup winner. At some point you gotta wonder if there's something to this. What is it about being a Canadian team that puts you at a disadvantage from the start? Is it just the stronger American dollar or is there more to it?
