A St Louis win makes them leapfrog the Flames, but I guess it’s the lesser of 2 evils...

Florida finally loses a game!

It's crazy how they have been winning nonstop and still have a -7 goal differential. Actually all the wildcard teams in the East have a negative goal differential!

I hope the Cats can catch Columbus because I don't want NJ to miss the playoffs. Really want to see Hall in the playoffs.

Laine, despite his incredible pace so far, would need to pick up the pace.

Mathews may have a shot at it.

Stamkos with an outside chance if keeps his current pace of 0.531 goals per game and plays 1100+ games.
It's certainly not an easy feat, but this sort of thing was said when Gretzky did it or Hull did, etc. Someone else will do it again within our lifetime.

Tonight could be Anaheim's 3rd loss in a row if the Blues can hang on. The Ducks going into a tailspin and falling out of the race would be a beautiful, joyous thing.

Hopefully the Flames can win a few games and take their spot.

We still, unfortunately, need the Kings to fall out as well.

Ducks occupying 3rd in the Pacific (probably WC2 after tonight) with just 2 more points and the same number of games played.

They're not helping themselves with games like yesterday, but they're not out of it... yet.

Looks like sharks and kings both winning tonight....

Still most of the third period to play... You're probably a bit premature

Assuming kings win, the ducks will be out of the playoffs after tonight. Tied with WC2 with Avs but Colorado has 2 games in hand.

3-0 Kings now.

Sharks have a 4-3 lead with about 5 minutes left.

No confidence that this year's Flames can make the playoffs. No 1st or 2nd round picks either. Ouch.

That hurts.
