What I find sad is that this place thought that Calgary would be the most welcoming city to start its foray into Canada. Even more sad, based on that poll; they were probably right.

It's only hypocritical if the same person that is avoiding chick-fil-anus isn't avoiding one of these other corporations.
I think the same people who avoid chicks-filling-anus are probably avoiding Urban outfitters and the Wild Rose party too.
I wouldn't even say it's hypocritical at all. It's a legit reason, but just don't get feeling too awesome about boycotting them while you still shop at Walmart.

Not saying you are ... just an example.
Well I'm not exactly patting myself on the back for not stopping there when I was at the airport but there's a big difference between stopping there on your 3 hour wait at the airport and driving out of your way and paying for parking to support them.

..and this poll now too. Looks like they did pick the right city.
I never even heard of this place before this thread, so since I don't know what I am missing, I would probably avoid them based on the homophobe stuff.

I'm pretty sure my views don't align with many CEOs of places I go to, so I don't think that's a big enough reason for me to boycott it (especially after they distances the CEO's views from the companies).
That said, I tried it and didn't find it to be that great. Definitely not worth it to specifically seek it out.
With that said, I don't eat processed food too much, so even if I liked it I can't imagine eating it often, let alone driving all the way to the airport to buy it.
I 2nd Sonic and Jack in the Box. Sonic is an Oklahoman company and their cheese tater tots are AWESOME! Jack in the box is ok. Great breakfast sandwiches... served all day. Their claim to fame for me is those greasy tacos that taste amazing when your drunk.
Sonic had the best kids' toys with the meals too.
I like JITBs sourdough buns. When I am in Seattle, I always go at least once for my fix. I could wolf down a few of their burgers. Makes me sad that there is no Pizzeria Paggliaci here either.

Smash Burger, sadly they do not make their Colorado Burger up here.
I think this is why Libertarianism won't work. People have short memories and are easy to forgive. Soylent Green is people? Well they did apologize and send me a coupon. It's only like 60% people now and plus it's just so tasty.
Necro bump. Had my first Chick-fil-A sandwich today. I’m going to give it a 3.5/5. Pretty darn good. The best part may have been the young lady telling each customer to “have a blessed day”. I assume that’s part of their schtick?

Yeah, I've only had the basic sandwich, but they were pretty tasty (especially the times when I was there early and they were basically made to order). Too bad they are only at the airport, and too bad there is no more 30 minute free parking.

I dont know why but I found this hilarious.
Is Chick-Fil-A the Sunshine Carpet Cleaners?
