Tommy needs to mix up this lineup. Insisting on starting Di Chiara, Musse and Norman every game and looking like dog#### while doing so needs to stop.

This is where we'll see if he remains stubborn, or "adapts and overcomes" like he likes to say 100 times a year.

Yeah, I'm tired of seeing Di Chiara, Musse and Norman in the starting lineup. I have no idea what Tommy sees in the first two, they're in incredibly poor form right now. Musse has been a disappointment for about 10 games in a row.

Sounds like Pepple is going to be loaned out to Grimsby Town in League 2, which IMO is a lot closer of a level to CPL. Will be interesting to see how he does there.

Also Akio got injured in his debut with Ross County and had surgery on his knee today. Not sure what exactly the injury is or how long he'll be out for but that sucks.

Forge signed Jordan Hamilton today. So much for a salary cap.

They should just rename to Toronto Castoff FC already.
  • Kyle Bekker
  • Ashtone Morgan
  • Emery Weslhman
  • Jordan Hamilton

I would take 3 out of those 4.

I used to rip on Bekker on Twitter when he was in MLS to the point that his dad added me on Twitter to defend his son, but he’s been the best player over the first 4 years of the CPL.

Agreed, Bekker has been the best player over the CPL's lifespan and it's not even close.

Diaz has been the best scorer, Bustos has been the flashiest, but Bekker has played at a consistently high level the whole time. Cavalry don't have any players at his level right now. We saw that last week when Bekker put a long diagonal into the back of the net, while Camargo hit it wide.

He's at a level where he's too good for CPL, but not good enough for MLS, so being the best paid player in the league and face of the league office's wet dream is not that bad a situation.

Also #### him.

The athleticism required in MLS was too much for him. Not as big of a problem in CPL.

I can respect his talent as the best player in the league and a guy I’d sure like to have on my team but man do I ever dislike Bekker. He and Smyrniotis just rub me completely the wrong way

Bekker seemed like a dink even in his TFC days when he was in a bit over his head.

That said, the ability of Hamilton to collect all these guys gives them a huge leg up. We need to call dibs on a retirement tour out of Sam Adekugbe and Scott Kennedy in a few years.

Valour's hot form and our terrible form means that we are a lot closer to 5th than they should be. Valour are now 5 points back of Cavalry in 4th with a game in hand, and our next two matches are against clubs we struggle to beat.

Time for this club to put up or shut up and bring a solid 90 minute effort against Forge next Friday. Ideally for more than the first few minutes.

Tyson Farago has retired. He suffered a back injury from a car accident this offseason and he just wasn't able to get healthy. That's a bummer, I liked him in his limited role last year.

New signing alert. 20 yaer old Canadian-Nigerian winger Goteh Ntignee, last played in 4th tier Germany. Knowing nothing about this player, it fills a need for Canadian U21 roster players and helps in attack.

And bombshell, Golden Boot winner has been transferred to Norway. Now Pacific can know Cavalry's pain of selling their top player mid season....

I'm really looking forward to seeing Di Chiara, Musse and Norman in the starting 11. Surely this is their week!

According to the article in the Sun everyone except Bevan and the season ending injuries are healthy. So I'd love to see a lineup like this.

Carducci

Klomp - Yao - M. Trafford

Alarcon - C. Trafford - Simmons - Vliet

Camargo

Mason - Escalante

You were close! No Alarcon, Assi on the right flank looks like. And back 4.

Sucks when Spruce Meadows security ambushes us before the game and reads us the riot act despite no dialogue from the club about any issues.

Communication is key.
