It's weird that Calgary doesn't get the first game, and that it's on Thursday, but I see that there is an NBA game in Denver on Sunday, so they wouldn't be able to do a Saturday/Sunday split next weekend with the first game here.
And between the Wranglers, Shania, and Stars on Ice, Saturday is the only day open next week for the Roughnecks.

And they will get a way bigger crowd on a Saturday. It's honestly better for them.
It is quite amazing what the team has done after seeing Dobbie and Dickson both leave on consecutive off-seasons. The team plays way more of a team game, and has a ton of athleticism in transition and D. Up front King does a great job of getting everyone involved in the offense.

Z. Currier may also be the best player in the entire game.

Too bad Pace likely won't be in the line-up in Denver.

well the mammoth coach starts working the ref just before the second half and what do you know, the Roughnecks get a steady stream of players to the penalty box until Colorado can score the winning goal. such a joke.

Won't be as sparse a crowd as last year's playoff game, but there are lots of good seats still available for tomorrow night (Blue are the seats available).

They've got to start discounting lower bowl tickets. Anything reasonably priced is gone.

Dude was unreal tonight. Just wasn't going to lose.

Too close for comfort at the end, but they hung on. Pace had a meh first half, better second. CDB was solid as always.

That was definitely a wild ride at the end. I thought they had the game wrapped up and a couple minutes later I felt like they were going to give it away but they pulled it off.

I wish I could have heard what that weird delay and review was about near the end of the game but the refs audio was garbage at the Dome.

They were reviewing to put the correct time on the clock

That was a painful loss. I imagine Pace will think about that final chance for a chunk of the of season. Not a great game on offence, Mammoth D was shut down and Ward made the saves he had to. CDB let in a couple weak goals. It was frustrating that we couldn't seem to make the right adjustments in the 4th.

It was an entertaining, tight game. Just a really tough ending.

Huge NLL news, as Curt Malawsky has moved from being coach/assistant GM for the Necks to being coach/GM out in Vancouver.
A lot of observers are seeing this as a huge shift for the conference, and I wonder if some of the BC based Roughnecks will now look to move to Vancouver (as opposed to all the older players moving to San Diego).
Too bad Tracey Kelusky just resigned in Fort Worth, he would be a natural pick for the team to make.
