Yeah, “Ok Go!” Or something like that. They weren’t actually an airline or owned any aircrafts. They just organized and booked the charter. I imagine they pocketed a fair amount to make it worthwhile. So I’d be curious how much the price would be “at cost”.

They were probably a startup that lost thousands per flight to show VCs they had "users" and then could try cash in on a big valuation.

I got my tickets to the Whitecaps and they’re not jacking them up. I want to say they’re the same as the season ticket costs, or maybe an extra buck or two? I don’t know, but there doesn’t seem to be a premium.

That is excellent news! With it being in the middle of stampede against an MLS team I could see a straight up sell out. It would be so neat to see that beautiful stadium sold out. Can't wait.

My ticket was $10, $15 after fees.
My regular season tickets are $19.11 per match so it looks like I'm getting a nice discount here.
I booked my ticket already in case the prices change, I'll take $15 all day!

And what a great windfall the team just secured for the owners, they have to be ecstatic. Imagine the single game revenue for a sell out at these prices. These are the types of games that will
a) help ensure viability into year two and
b) make future paying fans out of people who wouldn't have checked out a game until the press of playing an MLS team hooked them into one game

For some reason, I never have tickets in my “right for first refusal” section of my season ticket account. I had to visit the ticket desk at spruce meadows for them to get me my tickets for yesterday’s game and again, they aren’t appearing for July 10....anyone else have this problem?

Really, they should open the beer gardens at like 3:30, have some live music and really capitalize. It’s Stampede, so basically an easy way to make this into a bigger event.

Perhaps they are dropping the prices for this game to ensure a great turnout?

What the hell? My ticket for the Whitecaps game is 5 times the price of last night's game to Forge...
...and that is because I only paid $3.25 for last night's game. My ticket to the Whitecaps game is $10, $15.85 after tax.
Looks like the club is trying to pack the stadium. Time for us to do our part and pack the stadium. Can't let the big bad MLS club out support us in our own stadium.

I think they are just learning the market and adapting. The way they've adapted to everything so far has been very impressive.

Excellent strategy if so. It shows that they aren't turning a blind eye to the empty seats and complaints of paying and non paying customers. They likely feel they couldn't do too much to regular games as their season ticket base would be upset.
This is a game where they can draw in new fans at cheap prices and not piss off season ticket holders. Perfect response by Cavalry, imo.

Seems like a few things are happening. 1) they want to pack the stadium, 2) they've realized that their pricing is out of whack and are adjusting where they can (because their hands are tied with regular season matches), and 3) they are thanking season ticket holders with a little perk.
I'd say that all three of those things give hope that the club is aware of their flub, and may actually correct it in the offseason and we might see the 5000-6000 crowds that this team deserves for each home game next year.

For some reason, my account doesn’t have this option. I need to call in the morning. The “Right Of First Refusal” link is empty for me.

I haven’t received a single email from the team. I signed up after the first home game, So I don’t know if they officially have me in the system as a STH or not...maybe they just put the tickets into my account and charged me STH cost?
I have a card and received the STH package with gift, however...
