That’s where the 30days/10games rule helps. Each time a player is waived and not claimed he can be called up and sent down for a month without waivers. You can still save cap space on off days by sending those players down. Then repeat in a month.
I don’t think we’ll lose too many players at the start of the year. Then it would depend on how well the audition with the team goes.
