This is just a poor effort from the Chargers though. Maybe it's tired legs, but soft coverage and arm tackles are everywhere.

^^A bit early for that level of desperation, but they desperately need a three and out and a TD drive after. That would be crucial with the chance to score again with the ball to start the second half.

Seems like the teams on the bye were ultra prepared this year. Colts looked amazing last week as well and fell way short against KC. Disappointing as a Chargers fan

As an oposing fan you just hope your team doesn't embarrass themselves when they have to play in Foxboro. Chargers fans didn't get that wish today. Patriots -3.5 was easy easy money.

Chargers are back to being the Chargers. What an abysmal effort. Looks like it's never going to happen for Rivers who to me looks like he's lost some arm strength.

Looks like it was just one blown play, because pretty solid otherwise- not that the secondary has come around. It is the DLine pressure they are getting on Rivers. Wont be the same with Mahomes out of the pocket. Will be a shootout next week.

I'm impressed how they are still going for more points. I love the killer instinct. If the Chargers didn't come to play the Patriots owe it to the fans in the stadium to keep scoring as I hate when teams go conservative with a big lead.

Well 28 isn't a big lead anymore in the NFL, Chargers almost blew a 20 point lead with 10 minutes left last week. But Chargers looked so lifeless in that first half it will be a moral victory now if they can keep the Pats under 50.
