That's WAY too soon to be considered for the Hall of Fame.

Besides, we've had much longer threads devoted to this discussion the past few years if I recall correctly.

I agree, something to be HOF worthy has to be something that dies away but still has mystique years later.

2002 thread about the Flames fans, (some CP'ers in there too) who got punted out of Rectall after about 5 mins in a mid March 2002 game for retailiating (throwing the stuff back at Oiler fans that the Oiler fans threw at them originally, Then,a lledgedly, a few roughed up by the Police.

The longest thread that I saw for a while after, when the population was about 14% of what it is now...

Who was it again 'Abused Flames Fan' and 'Wife of Abused'?
Laugh. Yep, "Wife of Abused". Still the best handle anyone has come up with and deserves a spot in the HOF.

Did that guy ever come back and say what happened in the end? I'm pretty sure what happened was "nothing" but it'd be interesting to know for sure. [/b][/quote]
I was on that ill fated trip to Skydump, and know "Abused Flames Fan" well. In fact it's because of that incident that I first learned of Calgarypuck actually. The trip has gone on ever year since then without incident, at least from the EPS again.

And we lasted at least 7 minutes into the 1st... Didn't help how bad the Flames sucked back then...

"AFF" doesn't like to talk about it much, so let's just say it had a satisfactory ending.

I'd vote that one for the HOF.

How about the thread that created one of out most cherished traditions, the FATA!

How bout the Bertuzzi compared to iggy thread! Thats gotten pretty funny as well! Maybe not HOF worthy, but pretty funny.
Not even close to being HOF. It's actually kind of embarrasing.

I remember some good site vrs site batlles where "Dump" and I were in the midst of some battle with one of the loser Leafs sites and their usual moronic teenage mentality(or indeed agewise) moderators. Though Bingo might have suffered some grief during that spell LOL!!

I've enjoyed some of the "Edmonton is better than Calgary" threads involving Sundeep. The one that I got my sig from is my personal fav. He ran out of ways to trash Calgary and had to resort to criticizing our amount of annual precipitation.

I remember reading a thread about the force of iggys shot and then the Enginnering guys on the board starting posting equations and stuff. Not sure if Hall of Fame worthy but it was one that I remember.

I forgot about that one. Sample was talking about how, as a goalie, some pucks pack more of a wallop than others going at the same speed and I jumped in with physics to denounce his theory. :P

I’m always amazed these sportscasters and announcers can call the game with McDavid’s **** in their mouths all the time.

How about the Peace out Jordan one. All the drama for leaving must be a hall of fame thread.

Marek Zidlicky posts were the funniest - the players even new about us when we started the "boooooo" bomb on any random player.... And nobody likes a cat killer....

Nope, you got it right the first time. Despite the fact that he plays for Phoenix now, I'll always feel indebted to Sappy for that.
