Does anyone have a favourite source for vinyl graphics e.g. a centre ice flames logo or red maple leaf, or maybe even something custom? The kind of think I would put on the surface and then bury under a 1-2cm flood.

Copperfeild - open - they are having issues with their lights coming on at night (no nets)
Douglasglen - open - the guy that operates it try's to keep people off when its above 0 degrees, no lights at night when its warm (yes nets)
Douglasdale - open - best one IMO (yes nets)

Likely the last weekend for our backyard rink. Had to do some patchwork in one corner, luckily it was nice and cold last night. Had a great season; kids spent hours and hours out there. Til next year!

Looking at the weather forecast, it looks mild today but cold for this upcoming week… just in case you were thinking of building an ODR this year…

Finally finished the outdoor rink for the kids…. It has been an interesting year for this. Too warm this fall, then super cold, frozen taps, etc.

Hopefully the weather is ok so they get some use out of it, since it’s already January.

I put a light out there this year, should help them use it more in evenings.
