The first merger that fell through on AMCI took a lot of their cash and if this deal were to fall through there would be even less cash. Atleast the shares would be entitled to some assets whereas the warrants intrinsic value goes to 0.
I haven't read the wording and I don't know about AMCI, but most SPACS are a scenario where the worst day for the shares is the deal doesn't go through and you get your $10 back. The warrants are worth zero in that case though.

(Some are different, such as Pershing Square, which is a Tontine and there are a few idiosyncrasies there)

Ya, I probably went over board on the load up... There was just so much hype here, on stock twits, and on reddit...

AMCI will go through. They have 65M pipe backing it. Seems they filed a second S4A which would be based on the changes the SEC required. Once rubber stamped they can release the vote date. I'm still in warrants and will hold. It's still a HUGE opportunity IMO. Obviously there is risk but if it was a sure thing there would be no reward. It's also a bit of a hidden gem.

Man, I remember when the Score was on the venture exchange and for the longest time it was about $0.25. I was a user of the app, and it really hasn't changed, but it was well done and all in all had a market cap of about $2MM. I always considered buying it but didn't end up doing it, and with very few changes it's gone up so dramatically. That I can't explain.

With US markets closed it will likely be a slow day. Hoping some of the other stock I have continue to take off:

SCR
QBTC
CURA
BRAG
SU

Looks like bitcoin might open up on the day, if so I'll be selling my QBTC because I am going to buy in Bitcoin Trust - Class A via IPO

Anyone else getting in on this IPO? I have had a lot of success with bitcoin IPOs so far.

I won't be buying Cryptocurrency stocks until the next crash, I'm slowly exiting my current plays and taking profit.

The last time I got in on a crypto IPO, it was just before the last Cryptocurrency crash. Also, the market seems to have "stabilized" (as much as crypto can stabilize) around ~30% pullbacks and then gaining it back, right now we are at a peak and doesn't seem to have the momentum to push through yet (if it will).

I think this sector has a ton of upside both in Canada and the US. Canadian legislation will open the door for the Score to take off quickly and if they can build a sucessful platform that works really well like Bet365 they can do really well.

IMO thereis a big market for this worldwide and we are at the infancy stage in Canada. That puts The Score in a great spot. Thats why I also like Bragg, they are the guys building the platforms for all these companies.

Does anybody have a recommendation on good charting programs to use for people new to technical analysis? I've always been a fairly good fundamentals investor but I'm trying to develop my skills in technical analysis as well.

I've been watching SCR since it was about 1.30 and am pretty sure that ship has now sailed too.

Salving my wounds with NLC though, having recouped my initial investment and now just watching the profits continue to go up as expectations for the stock continue to be revised upwards.

Looking at putting some money into TC Energy but thinking that'll wait for after the inauguration.

Check out www.koyfin.com

It's a pretty solid site (free) and you can create your own charts and such there. It's actually pretty great in general and lets you do a lot.

Ugh. I'm kicking myself on SCR. I jumped on the fomo hype train at a modest 2.30. Did some more reading, had a bad feeling and got out the same day.

Oh well.

I didnt buy during the IPO but I did buy and sell shares early making some quick cash. I bought back in during their last financing round @ $1.40 and held.
