Weird Saddledome Question

Long shot but ... Does anyone know if there would be problems if I shot some video around the outside of the Saddledome during game days? We'd prob also be looking to interview random fans.

Probably best if you did it off the grounds as you’d be on public property.

How big is the camera? They will deny professional grade equipment or long lenses.

It's a handheld camcorder but it's professional enough that it can't be hidden.. I'm not looking to go in to the dome with it.

I did call the Saddledome just now. Got transferred around a number of time but finally got someone who took my info and my idea to get me an answer.

Definitely get a full name and phone number if you get permission, and keep it handy. From past experience there's a lot of jumped up mall cops working "security" who would love to give you a hard time otherwise.

Nobody in the office is going to work on this at 4pm on a Friday. ☺

It took a week to simply confirm that I could sit in the back of a random lecture hall (as a non-student) during a visit I made to Western University. There was a liability question etc.
