haha Natalie...what a character. Was definitely time for her to go, but I was also amused by the sass she was giving Jeff at tribal.
Angelina was faking that shocked reaction at the end. She knew Natalie was gonna go

Pretty sure producers are going to try and keep John around. Guy is freaking huge. My wife hates survivor, but doesn't seem to care what I'm watching when he's on the screen.
Him and Dan seem to have the combined intelligence of a rock though. Anytime you see 2 big dudes bro down they're way too much of a threat and one of them gets punted pretty quickly. I'd be shocked if either one makes it to the jury.

Well, if you believe in producer meddling. Mark Burnett is a producer of both Survivor and Lucha Underground, a TV show where John wrestles in. So some added vested interest there.

Dan seems pretty astute so far. He's found two immunity idols pretty easily. And John seems to be playing a good social game.
I don't really see what signs they have shown that they are not smart at all.

I'm getting pretty skeptical about the whole idol thing. I'm trying not to read too far into it, but it sure does seem pretty coincidental and almost contrived when guys are finding them.
It was also the bro down with Christian that caught my attention; typically when you get two big dudes like that hanging out it turns into a threat to the rest of the tribe. You would think they would be a little more discreet about it, because it sets up a great blind side.
I will admit though, I'm not nearly as hooked as previous seasons so I'm not following all the little nuances this year. Since Survivor all stars it seems like the shine has come off the series.

I somewhat suspect when you see someone find an idol it is a staged re-enactments. They probably have somewhere around 6 cameras, and where there are still 16 people on the island if the camera followed a person into the woods every time it would look suspicious.

Finally caught up with the last 2 episodes. Well, it's good to see both the tone-deaf players go (Dear Lyrsa, you are nearly as not self-aware as Natalie is, stop kidding yourself) but with them, a decent amount of drama will go, too.
Be interesting to see what comes next.

That was a very entertaining Tribal Council tonight for how that vote ended up.

Is it a good thing or a bad thing when your survivor pick seems to have zero screen time? Ghost Carl.

I was surprised the vote was unanimous. Thought it would be 7-6.
Kara is one of my picks but if I was in the game I'd be splitting her and Dan up in a heartbeat. He's got 2 idols too, he's in a pretty great spot right now.
