That just makes no sense to me. He was not good in left field so lets put him in an even more challenging position.

Davis going back to AAA makes sense. His bat is not MLB level.

Yeah, you would think Grichuk would be the CF but what do I know I guess?

Apparently Atkins was quoted that Hernandez is going to be the CFer for the time being.

Wow. Jays are crushing tonight.

3 home runs in the 8th.

3 run shot by Vlad and now Grichuk and Drury go back to back.

Jays up 11-7 now

Vladdy closing in on a very respectable .800 OPS and climbing!

I love how he doesn’t hit wall scrapers. When he gets a hold of one it’s way gone.

Nice of the Jays to save all their turn for the games I didn’t spend 1,500 to go see in Denver.....

So in Brittons career he's thrown nearly 2500 sinkers below the zone.

There has only 51 hits and 9 doubles hit on those pitches.

Vlad's home run yesterday was the first time one left the ball park.

Vladito is pretty good lol.

Also, since being put in the two hole Vlad's slash line for 23 games is .295/.361/.591, OPS .952 and 151 wRC+

Wow! Those are impressive statistics. He has also been playing adequate defense at third, which is really all I can hope for with someone Vladdy's size. Give up a few runs here and there on D but provide a lot of value at the plate.

Sky is the limit with him.

It really is. A little bit of a bumpy start but this kid is going to be every bit of the star that he is projected to be. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him get ROY too.

Is he still getting BABIP'd to hell? I've read he's been fairly unlucky and he's still mashing.

Yeah his BABIP is .269, which is the lowest he's had at any level by a country mile. He's hit a ton of balls right at people for outs.

And his exit velocity is among the leagues best. Not to mention he never gets good pitches to hit because the Jays lineup is embarrassing.

It needs to be said again but that bomb against Britton last night was absolutely nuts any way you look at it. I really hope the fans show up once the Raps are done to support this kid. I’m hoping to make a trip out late Summer to see him(and hopefully Bichette) play.

Jackson on the mound tonight. Really thought he’d be DFA’d by now. Shows how dire the pitching situation is.

Not going to hold my breath for this one tonight..

I like Galvis and I think he is a good short stop but when he has a bad at bat, they are so so so so bad, it's almost comical.

Because Atkins has shown flashes of brilliance, he's been awarded an extension until 2020. One of today's brightest baseball minds and negotiators.

Drury's line since April 29th

.279 / .308 / .508 / .816

Those are decent numbers actually. Not a very good OBP but his slugging % is strong enough to post a respectable OPS

They spoke about Teo during last nights game...

They mentioned he played over 300 hundred games in the minors as CF
