CP has had thousands of posts on Connor Mic D and let's have some fun centralizing all of this garbage into a thread. After his show from last night, it's a scary thought the Oil sludge up north will probably have him for the next decade.
We dislike him but ultimately envy him. We can admit that he is one heck of a player but being on the Oilers drastically devalues his value and appeal. We feel sorry for him having to wear that ugly orange & blue jersey but it's not his fault - he was drafted.
I'd love to see some random thoughts in this thread about what you truly think about the savior up north. Total career points, total cups, total Harts / Art Ross, your own personal thoughts on your love or disdain for this speedy Gonzalez. Where will he ultimately end up in his late 20s playing? Will Mike Smith give the Hextall love tap to Connor one day? And if Connor was a Flame with Gaudreau, who on our team would be the ringer winger?

This guy is just too fast. Kind of unfair. Like a video game with unlimited turbo.
Can't believe how lucky the Oilers got. CMD should have went to the Sabres, Eichel to Arizona and Dylan Strome to Edmonton.

Greatest injustice in NHL history was watching this team win their 4th overall pick in NHL 5 calendar years. The NHL's lottery and welfare system allowed this travesty. And to think, this team could've easily had one of Patrik Laine and Auston Matthews as well. Most undeserving team in NHL ever. Getting both Gretzky and McDavid is just ridiculous luck.

Seriously, the night after the Flames utterly pooped the bed this thread shows up.
Fine here's a thought, he will never win a Stanley Cup in Edmonton, he will eventually give up on life up there as his contract and Draisaitl's contract quickly choke the life out of the Oilers and eventually it will be one rose in a pile of poop, and then one day McDavid will wake up and look out of his window at 3 feet of snow, a 35 below forcast and news that the next big event is a sweatpants fashion show at West Edmonton Mall, with music provided by the Banjo Stylings of some band known as "The one tooth wonders".
And he'll wonder what he's doing there. Then he'll head to the rink for practice and stop at McDonalds which construes for fine dining in Edmonton and watch some brother sister team raising their two kids who are struggling with a one line cross word puzzle with the clue "It has four legs and barks". And he'll look at all of the 300 pound woman eyeing him up and he'll say to himself "McDawg (Cause he makes up a stupid nickname to match his stupid face) I have to get out of here before I die or become one of them"
And he demands a trade.
