Oilers sign Kassian to a 3 year, 5.85 million contract

Zack Kassian has agreed to terms with EDM on a three-year deal worth a total of $5.85M.

Damn, I was hoping that was $5.85 per year.
That would be insane but hey, you know, Oilers.

It's not a bad contract although three years for this type of player is a little on the long side as it was for the Bouma contract.

I'm at work and I glanced at the notification and it made it seem like it was 5.85 per and I spit out my water lol.
I was kind of let down that it was 5.85 total but I have faith in them doing something stupid....Russell is making more than Hamonic so I guess I meant more stupid things.

I expected at least mid 2's. This is a steal, I think... Of course, it's three years, so that stability probably caused him to take a mild cut.
