Yeah, he pretty much deserved it haha. It was similar to Cooke's elbow. Totally deliberate.

If he went after a skilled player, yeah he deserved it but if he went after a puke agitator who goes around spearing and slashing and won't fight well I have some sympathy for him.

It looked different when you were there, a little more obvious and you could
see the elbow to the back of the head.

from the video it looks like pelech expects the bulldog player to continue around the boards and pelech goes for the big hit. Right as the bulldog cuts back he leaves himself open for the hit from behind.
2 games is good as you have to suspend in that situation but it doesnt look intentional by any means.

This video doesn't show his elbow. That hit from behind he got a five minute major for. On his next shift out of the penalty box he stuck his elbow out and hit the guy in the back of head pretty hard.

Pelech was ejected for the hit in Friday's game.

If the suspension was for an elbow then it had to be from earlier in Friday's game or in Saturday's game.

The only penalty he got on Saturday was from the fight he had.

The elbowing penalty was at 18:23 of the first period and the boarding penalty
was at 3:05 of the second period, and he got 5 and a game. I'm not sure which one he got the suspension for.
