Everyone blames Limp Bizkit but in reality it was the event organizers.
No shade on an airfield and 4 days of 100 degree weather. 2500 toilets for 250000 ppl. Overcharging for water, limiting water free tap water access, banning festival goers from entering with their own water and food supply so they have to for overpriced food and water. They did it to themselves.
Yup. They created a situation where a massive crowd was inevitably just going to get increasingly angry, frustrated and drunk every hour, and then blamed it on the crowd when that anger exploded.
That same year countless other festivals and concerts went just fine, with the same generation of audience and the same bands, but the media just never likes to let facts to get in the way of a good moral panic.

Directed by Ridley Scott. Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Adam Driver. I'm in.
A grown-up lookin Joffrey Ben Afflek? Matt Damon with a crazy mullett? Man, I will watch this but I am very concerned those two will be overwhelmingly distracting. And if Matt Damon doesn't say "How doth thou like them apples?" I will be asking for a refund.

Whoa, that looks great. I wasn't stoked after the first trailer I saw, but this one got me hyped.
still hyped for the movie, but I actually liked the first trailer a bit better...this one felt a bit too long and maybe not quite the pacing... the start with Zendaya (?) is a great set up though
great seeing more of the visuals though. DV is such a great director, I'd watch this for visuals alone
I am hoping this does well enough for a sequel to be greenlit

The Sequels would probably have to go in a different direction than the follow up books. They are "weird" to say the least and likely wouldnt translate well.

That was my big fear before it was delayed: nobody shows up because of covid, death for the sequel.
I preferred the first trailer, too, however I try not to put much stock in trailers. Villeneuve is hot and cold with his pacing. Sicario has you on the edge of your seat chewing your fingernails down to the quick, Arrival no so much. but both were excellent. Dying to see how Dune plays out

I think he means the 2nd half of the first book, this movie only covers the 1st half.
So in the Ghostbusters Cinematic Universe, is the previous movie no longer cannon? These are the deep questions I need answering!
Anyway, so excited and even more so with the AB connections!
What I have a hard time with is the original Ghostbusters being forgotten. Those guys fought a skyscraper sized marshmellow man and piloted the Statue of Liberty through Times Square. Those aren't events that would just fade into obscurity
