I don’t want much from Montreal after 31 OA… Matthias Norlinder looks like he could be a guy, a skilled Swedish defenseman - one can never have too many of those around.

What are you talking about? I don’t know what they have that we’d want. The only guy at a glance I want from their prospects is the Swede. I don’t want anyone from their roster that they’d include in this deal.
Conversely, Monahan is a good player for Montreal to target.

That's being proactive. The Flames don't operate like that. They like to use up the value of our assets chasing 16-20th overall.
