I lived in the Arriva building from 2008-2011, never had an issue during Stampede. Part of the fun of living there was being close to all the action. However the distance from that building to the Cowboys tent was farther than what the Guardian folks will have with that new tent. Give it a day or two and you can probably sleep through it, or get some good white noise going to help.

That would be pretty funny if they were going through all this trouble just to put in a tent that only held 400 people.
That's fewer people than would use the parking lot that's there.

Heres the thing: Its the Stampede and its Cowboys. They've been breaking every rule in the book since their inception and frankly I'm pretty sure the Cops arent going to be overly interested in enforcing a loud noise curfew during Stampede.
"Oh, its 12:30 and its still rocking? Oh yes sir. We'll be right there sir. Priority #1 sir."
Because thats the Stampede's Achilles Heel...late night noise bylaw violations.

At first I felt bad for residents of the towers.
But after spending a week in Europe during a festival with music blasting out of public speakers (including right outside our bedroom window) until at least 12am and sometimes 4am every night I realize how good our bylaws are.
They can manage.
