I don't know how you can continue playing after witnessing something like that man...

Yeah that very well might be the most gruesome leg injury we've seen. Sickening.

If I hadn't have watched the game with the Marcus Lattimore injury, this one would probably be number one.

I dislocated my ankle in the summer, mine was about 60 degrees and it looks like Gordon got the full 90 degree treatment. I read that the Celtics are cautiously optimistic about his return time table, judging off my own injury I hope he can make it back for playoffs, Hayward's one of my favorite players in the NBA.

I heard that Hayward blamed his teammates for not telling him the floor was underneath him. Is this justified?

fair point, but if we calculate how long it took him to hit the floor vs me hit the fence the warning time window was longer for the Tuggers than the Celtics.

I believe in the Jays.
|
Interesting to hear them talking about the Raps going with a new offensive strategy. Basically trying to modernize and create more open 3s through passing.
It's good to hear that they are trying to change and improve.

I mean it is the Bulls, they will be one of the worst teams in the league, but as of now, halfway through the second quarter, Lowry and DeRozan have the two lowest point totals of guys who've scored. Also, Matt Devlin, please stop with the Kilometers references when CJ Miles hits shots. Gonna be play out by...yesterday.

Thank the Lord!
Isolation offence was going No where fast with derozan and lowry not producing enough to justify the high volume shots.
This also means JV's points are going to be mostly putbacks or trailing late in transition. It also means JV (or any inside guy) is going to get fewer touches - erego when he does get the ball in the post, 9 times out of 10 he is going to keep it.

JV is actually getting to touch the ball a lot. Now not necessarily to shoot but they are playing the ball through him a lot. Apparently he is enjoying the change from doing nothing but setting screens. Just off the ball movement he came open for a number of shots with even a lame three point attempt.

Curry should be suspended for that garbage. Throwing your mouth piece at a referee is a ###### move.

I hope you're right.
I will believe it when I see 4th quarters in close games where the offence isnt repeating last year's mistakes.

Might be a while now that he is hurt. But two games in they are still moving the ball and chucking three's galore. They go West next / that will expose all.

Not saying the Raptors played well or deserved to win tonight but I'm not sure I can continue watching the NBA if that's how games are going to be officiated.

You haven't been watching long if you thought tonight was bad, there's several levels worse than this. You just sort of get used to it, even if you hate it. The Raps just played an elite defensive team and struggled to create anything. Still a game they should win even with the officiating, Spurs without Kawhi are still very good but if you're going to take the next step as a team these are games you gotta win.

That was classic treadmill Raptors. Complete with fake comeback at the end and bozo DD dribbling the ball off his foot in the clutch. They can't play against teams that actually play defense and they instantly reverted to iso ball when they got behind. Same old story. Beat up sucky teams / owned by the real talent. Even Lowry looks sad and passive this year. The bench looks better than the starters but then with the Raps that's often the case.
First test a failure. Next up the Warriors.
