Absolutely dominating performance.
Looked like a contender tonight.

That was the best 60 minutes of Flames hockey I've seen in the last year, aside from the bad start. Defense was on point and holding the caps to the outside, offense was firing with quick passes and a heavy forecheck, and Smith made some key saves. So much more satisfying to see the Flames win with everyone contributing
They need to make this train ride thing a yearly tradition, there seems to be something magical about it

Other than the Ducks game early in the season, this was probably the most complete game the Flames have played all year.
Solid in all areas of the ice, excellent job by the special teams, and our top players are playing like top players. Feels like it's really starting to come together.

I thought we got a couple of soft penalties...
... and that's the only real complaint I can think of
Defensive game for once looked like it should. Special teams worked. Offense worked. Powerplay works.
That 4th line isn't too bad when they have a center with some wheels. I thought Freddie was pretty good, probably earned himself another game in the lineup.
Good team effort, great win

I think the thing I'm most pleased with is seeing the PK shut down the Caps PP. That was huge. They needed that.

Great game.
I just noticed Flames, Leafs and Sharks are the only teams without an OTL.
