This place is not fun anymore at least for me a small minority who are so sure of themselves ruin the entire experience. Maybe I'll be back after the Flames win the Cup maybe not but for now I'm out.
Peace to all the great people here.

If it is really causing you angst then do what you gotta do. You'll be missed.
My suggestion is to just stay out of places where these people troll, and when you do see them, ignore them, use the block feature. I do not even bother going in game threads, some people take every second of every game way too seriously and the negativity just boils.
The thing that these people forget, and this is in all sports, unless you are having an absolute historically good or bad season, a team is going to win 30% and lose 30% of the games at the very least. It's what you do with those other 40%. There are two teams playing. Both teams have professional players. Both teams are going to play above or below their potential at times. It happens. Enjoy the entertainment, be invested, but don't let it ruin your day.

If you give up, the terrorists win.
So hopefully you stuck around, but sometimes it is good to take a break though.

Thx for all your contributions that made CP a better place. Hope to see you back at some point in time.

Like many others, I find these "I'm leaving and I'm taking my toys with me" threads to be pretty eye roll-inducing. That said, CP is definitely not the community it used to be, and maybe we should be looking at what we might be doing that would drive away a long-time poster who has contributed a ton of great content to this site.
It also seems like maybe zamler is dealing with some stuff right now. I wish him well and hope to see him back here at some point.

zamler - you were a good poster and made some good contributions.
You also took things too serious. I've been there. Hopefully you can come back and understand its just a message board with people online trying to kill time. Not important in the grand scheme of things.

I've had conversations with some other long, long time posters here they've expressed similar sentiments. I can't put my finger on it, but CP is not what it used to be. I definitely understand that people see these threads as posters looking for attention, but I do wonder about the underlying cause. I think that we've lost a lot of long-time posters over the past year or two and that's a real shame.
