Easy to root for a guy like Singleton, even if you're not a Stamps fan. Glad to see him be successful in the NFL and I hope he's able to turn it into a long career.

I’m not a Stamps fan and am cheering for Singleton. So much respect for the guy.

CALGARY — The Calgary Stampeders have re-signed American defensive back Richard Leonard.

Leonard originally signed with the Stampeders on Feb. 11 after three seasons with the Hamilton Tiger-Cats.

Isn't this the second time he has restructured his current contract?

Alex Singleton played solely on special teams with the Eagles in 2019 after two years with the CFL Calgary Stampeders. This season, he’s made the most of his limited opportunities on defense earlier this season, and now seems like a lock as a starter for 2021.

His efforts haven’t gone unnoticed by defensive coordinator Jim Schwartz.

“He's [a] guy that's been improving… [a] guy that had a hard time starting his career, got cut a bunch of times, had to go to the CFL, came back, earned his way on special teams and then started being able to get a little bit more for us.”

“There was a lot of things in the pass game that - mistakes that he would make or things that he could do better,” Schwartz said. “But I really see his arrow being up in those categories too, now. He's become a much more consistent, zone player. He's become better at directing traffic back there, making all the calls and being on the field for every snap is a lot different than being a complementary player, so he's grown in all those things, and knowing the kind of guy he is, he'll continue to grow, and that speaks well for him and for us.”

Harris also restructuring his contract for the Edmonton football team...

“Trevor approached me about restructuring his contract for the better of the team,” said general manager Brock Sunderland. “He is the consummate team player and has done this throughout his career, as he is always looking for ways to help the organization and his teammates out.”

Sunderland also hinted that restructuring Harris’ contract will allow the team to start re-signing their pending free agents. Key players who are set to become free agents in February 2021 include Almondo Sewell, Greg Ellingson, Kwaku Boateng, and Matt O’Donnell.

Huf continues to be busy and this is very good news, Raheem Wilson was very good for the Stamps in 2019...

The Calgary Stampeders have re-signed up-and-coming defensive back Raheem Wilson.

The 27-year-old started all 18 regular season games in 2019 as a rookie at field-side cornerback. He made 37 total tackles, two interceptions, one forced fumble and eight knockdowns.

“Raheem made a very positive first impression as a rookie as he earned a starting position at cornerback,” said Stampeders’ president and general manager John Hufnagel. “I’m looking forward to seeing him continue his development in his second season.”

Markeith Ambles will be returning to the Stamps receiving corps...

“I want to thank the Calgary Stampeder coaching staff and front office for giving me an opportunity to come back,” said Ambles. “It’s been a long year, but I’m excited to be back on the field. The goal for 2021 is to help bring another Grey Cup to the city.”

Ambles joined the Stampeders in 2018 and made seven starts — six in the regular season as well as the Western Final. In 15 career regular season contests, he has 63 catches for 713 yards and four touchdowns.

“Markeith is a talented player who was establishing himself as a key member of our offence in 2019 until an injury ended his season,” said president and general manager John Hufnagel. “He’ll have an opportunity at training camp to stake his claim for a starting position and hopefully he will deliver a healthy and productive season.”

So where are the Stamps in signings? Is there a comprehensive list of who is currently signed?

This is as likely up to date as we will find.

List of Stamps UFAs and who's re-signed. The list is up to date, one of the few things CFL site does well.
