Hit 21 this morning. Took down a bunch of gyms earlier. I don't have any super strong pokemon yet.

I think I've got about 12 evolves ready to go and just turned level 10. Am I wasting one of my luck eggs if I only evolve 12? I do have the 2nd lucky egg now, so I sort of feel like doing one now would be a good idea, and then waiting a while again on the next one.

Try and get more, like 30 to 40 evolves, otherwise you'll waste a bunch of the egg.

Everyone groans about Pidgy and Weedle, but they really are gold for racking up evolves. It's catch 3, evolve 1 (the 1 you catch plus 3 candies with it, three times is 12 candies and an evolve)..
You just never do the second evolution and just recycle them instead.

I did a lucky egg evolve spree yesterday and managed to evolve 60 pokemon. I'd save it until you have at least 50 ready to go if you really want to maximize your xp gain. Just sit on top of a double or triple lured pokestop and capture all the weedles and pidgeys.

Evolved a combination of about 50 pidgeys/weedles and whatever other stuff I had to evolve to go from 18-20. Trying to save a bunch again to use another egg.

I'm thinking of restarting the game. I went all somewhat crazy using stardusts when I downloaded the game illegally and now I think I may have regretted it and not wait till I had a shat load of weedles, caterpies, pigeys and drowzee's before using lucky egg to evolve them.

It's taken me a sweet and long time to get to lvl 20.

what would the benefit be to restarting? You would always be behind where you are now.

At least you have the possibility of getting to level 20, there aren't even any Pokemon (not even low level scrubs) within a 5 minute drive, let alone walk, of me

What a frustrating lunch hour. I found a 600+ Seaking, which I don't have one of yet. I used 38 balls on it, I know how many because that was all that I had. On my last ball I caught it again and then the game freezes. I left if for about 15 minutes with the icon in the top spinning before I closed the app to find it got away.

Apparently Niantec has scrambled the nest species. So the maps with nests marked will now produce different species.

You get 3 free lucky eggs on the way to 20 so that's worth about $3. I would say you are better off buying a few lucky eggs then restarting so I don't think you gain anything starting over.

Now that I've taken down a few gyms and made some money what do you guys think is the best thing to spend coins on? I was thinking about grabbing a bag upgrade.

Darnit! There was a Snorlax in PEI park last night and I ran out of berries trying to catch it... arg!! Anyone know a reliable place where that thing spawns? I've only ever seen one.

I'd buy egg incubators. You can never go wrong with more incubators.

Egg incubators or lucky eggs for sure. If you have been amassing pidgies, xp is always welcome. If you buy the incubators, just remember you only get the three-use ones, so use them on the 10ks.

Eggs make the most sense as Dust is the most limited substance in the game and the only way to increase the rate of dust is egg hatching.
