Someone on Reddit is saying that there are some seats in the lower bowl for 70 bucks. Maybe they sold already.

Yep, there are, but those are at the far end.

Scooped up a couple today, thanks Cecil. Couldn't resist Queens for that price, the Struts are great as well.

Apparently there’s been another price drop on QOTSA tickets for tonight.

https://www.reddit.com/r/qotsa/comme...an_shows_with/

$45 with code “obscenery”

Top notch show. They sounded great and their stage light set up was killer. I was really digging the pyramid lights. And it ended up being a good crowd. Floor was full and most of the lower bowl and quite a bit of the second bowl was full.

I knew The Struts would be great and they were, that f'ing Luke Spiller is a hell of a singer and performer. I agree, for an arena the sound was decent.

Very similar show from the last time I saw Queens with Royal Blood opening, only thing different was the light show and a few new songs in the set. 7th time seeing them, still fun. The world needs more quirky guitar rock like these guys churn out.

I was on the floor, not too rowdy even for an old guy like me- I think Edmonton will get a better set list, but we got the live debut of Sicily which is pretty cool, was great to hear-

The Struts are seriously one of the most under rated bands. I’ve seen them 6 times now and they’re probably my favourite band. Luke Spiller is just so cool and super talented.

Last night the crowd at the start was pretty small but they did an amazing job getting everyone up and dancing by the end. It was awesome.

If they do re-schedule, I may go to Edmonton for the new date- Hoping it works out and everyone is ok- I've seen Josh play through a lot so it must have been bad. I heard they announced it after The Struts played their opening set so a real last minute cancelation

They're about 1/3 full in most arenas they play (5k in Calgary 14500-15000 is a sellout for most concert set ups there), so the chances they return to a northern Canadian city to make up a show in front of a mostly empty arena are slim to none.

Only way is if the illness is bad enough they miss the rest of their Canadian tour as well. But considering they play Saskatoon tonight and have not cancelled yet, I'd imagine they're back on track.

There’s no way they only had 5k in Calgary. Sales for the rest of the tour are pretty weak tho. They didn’t even open the 2nd bowl for Edmonton.

Corral was a terrible venue for concerts from an acoustics perspective, but with it gone Calgary just doesn't have that mid-level venue for 5-7,000 people. So you see more and more shows playing at the Dome that would be way better served in a venue like the Corral was. No offense to Lamb of God and Mastodon, but in both of their primes I saw them playing shows at Mac Hall and those weren't even sold out. Now they are playing the Dome? Probably gonna have terrible attendance, but that show is also too big for Mac Hall or the Grey Eagle, so it's kind of a no-win situation for bands.

How many does "New Mac Hall" hold?

I saw Vampire Weekend there and feel like there were a few thousand people

I thought it was close to two thousand but from a quick search it's only a thousand. We definitely need a medium sized venue or bands like QOTSA will stop coming.

Anybody else get tickets to Snoop Dog? The hotboxing of the Dome is going to be legendary.
