Default January 15 with ten games.

There are lots of western conference teams in action on a busy Tuesday OOT.

Hoping for the Sharks and Knights to both lose.

It is tough to cheer for the penguins, so I'm just going to cheer against the Sharks.

Jets/Knights hopefully isn't a three point game.

I cannot bring myself to hope for good things to happen to the Winnipeg Jets.

I hear that. But somebody has to take Vegas out. Please Jebus don't let it be a 3-point game.

Go Penguins!

And Washington (letting us down so far)

And Detroit (because who doesn't want Anaheim to suffer for a while longer)

It doesn't matter. The Flames are in total control of their own destiny regardless of what Vegas does. Even if VGK does win tonight they still remain two points in areas of the Flames, and give-up two games in hand to them. The Knights are not catching the Flames.

Tonight no but I'm thinking big picture and every Vegas loss is a good thing. They scare me more than any other Western conference team

And with that, Winnipeg scores to make it 2-0.

The Jets have been thoroughly outplayed in this game, and are getting some excellent goaltending from Laurent Broissoit. He will join Patrik Laine and Kyle Connor as notable RFAs who will require new deals this summer. Next year Josh Morrissey will be owed a new deal. It will be interesting to see what happens in Winnipeg the next two years—for an internal budget team it appears likely that they will need to make some difficult decisions.

Right. I'll believe it when it actually happens. The Knights entered this game on an incredible 8-1-1 pace and have gained no gourd on the Flames in that time.

That hardly means they can’t make up 4 points in the standing. Love the bravado, but anyone who has followed the Flames in the last 30 years knows they could just as easily finish 3rd in the division when all is said and done.

Wasn't sure where to put this but for those interested (likely no one).

The Warriors are beating the Puckaneers 5-1 in the second period of the 2018 2nd annual Beer League Hockey Championship at the Saddledome.

I missed last years game so I have nothing to compare with for entertainment value.
