Happens fairly regularly in Boston with the Green Monstah.

Nice to see Grichuk hopefully waking up.

Him and Travis are the only two not pulling their weight offensively yet. If they come to life as well offense shouldn't be a problem at all for this team.

Bases loaded with one out and an 8-3 lead. Could really blow this baby wide open here.

Indeed! I hadn't really thought of it that way.

Pillar got a break there, should have been rung up looking on that 2 strike curve that was clearly right down the middle. Kudos though, he took advantage of it on the next curve he got and ripped the 2 run double.

Axford has good stuff when he's got control.

Big win to start the double header!

I really wish the Biagini as a starter experiment would stop. He’s a great reliever, what’s wrong with that?

Biagini is a victim of his versatility. He can be a late inning set up guy, or a long arm, or a starter, and be effective at all three, which provides the Jays with a useful depth piece.

However he hasn't really solidified a role for himself.

They have him starting in Buffalo so I guess the Jays fancy him a 6th starter, as we are seeing today. But as TAO said, and I agree, he is a better reliever than starter.

But all that being said he is doing a decent job today.

Yeah, being streamed on Facebook. It's an MLB thing and not a Jays thing as part of 25 or something MLB games to be shown on Facebook this year.

Well, Maile pleasantly surprised me there, thought for sure he'd K, but instead hits a 2 run single. Nice!
