I thought it would be bigger — at around 5:00 pm you could see it just above the horizon and it was huge in comparison...

Once you got out of the city, and away from the light, BC Chris's photos are pretty spot on for what it looked like. The contrast between the silver and the red, after the peak totality, was pretty spectacular.

Seemed a little hazy in Calgary. The eclipse part was cool but it never did look red to me.

It didn't seem any more spectacular looking than a regular lunar eclipse.
