Lehner gets the SHUTOUT with 19 saves and the Islanders won 3-0 and are in 2nd place in the eastern conf. Clutterbuck scored 2 goals.

LOL on the Leafs. The Coyotes make most of Canada happy as they won 4-2 and are 4 points back of the last 2 playoff spots in the western playoff race.

That was a wild 3rd period in the Caps-Bhawks game with 7 goals scored. It was the Kane and Toews show as each had 5 points! Chicago won 8-5, just crazy.

Roussel scored the GWG with under 7 minutes left in reg time, Canucks won 3-2. Markstrom made 35 saves in the win.

It's so delicious that the Islanders are better than the Leafs, despite everything. I hope they can keep it up for another month and then lay another beating on the Leafs when they meet at the end of february. Such poetic justice that would be.
