Listened to Hitchcock interviewed on Toronto radio today.

Man the arrogance was unbearable.

Well, after all, he is the only coach in the NHL who has never lost a game with his current team.

With all due respect, I'd suggest you do some reasearch here. Clare Drake was absolutely the Scotty Bowman of university hockey. His spehere of influence is incredibly far reaching - listen to Babcock, Trotz, Hitchcock, Dave King, and others talk about what he meant to their development as coaches and his influence on how the game was and is played. Here's a good article:

I'm sure Stauffer went overboard, as I didn't hear the interview, but he's not at all wrong.

He reminds me of an older, more savvy Joe Colborne

Well he is an Edmontonian.

That's my view of Edmontonians, arrogant, self centered, boastful of meaningless accomplishments. The successful Edmontonians, like Hitchcock and Katz take the arrogance to another level.

Calgarians are generally humble and reserved. They just know that they can and do get #### done and don't like to brag about it.

Over generalize much?

There are good folks mixed in with ###### bags, everywhere.
