They are forecasting rain in NY for Game 4. If postponed, that would be a disaster for the Yankees.

I was thinking about this too, but why it would it be a disaster for the Yankees? Astros could move Greinke and Verlander up on regular rest, but not Cole since plan is that timing for games 6 and 7 stays the same. You're not getting an extra rested start from any of those guys.

Yankees could go with Tanaka instead of a bullpen day in game 4. Which I think they would like.

Yankees almost should have almost just started a different starting pitcher today and not wasted Severino against Cole. (Although not like Severino has been good)

It's at the point with Cole where he's an automatic 0 runs, 10 strikeouts, and 7 Innings Pitched.

Just start Happ or Sabathia or something.

Yankees had two good looks those first two innings but some terrible at bats cost them. Severino has at least settled down here so his start might not be a total waste if he can give them six innings.

If this was the Expos in this game I would be losing my mind about now. I still have a pulling intrrest for the Nationals, but not the same emotional investment I would with the Expos.

Happy to see them get thru while that lying Loria toils away in Miami.
