Flames are in a rare spot. As long as they play well I can ultimately be happy with a win or a loss...never not happy with a win.
A loss today and the Flames should rotate between Vladar and Markstrom, with a handful of Wolf games at the end of he season.

Hoping Vladar gets the start as Markstrom could use a rest and Vladar needs some ice time.
The team needs to limit the turnovers today, get some chances on the power play and stay out of the box.

Precisely! Counting back three games I estimated they could afford 6 losses, last night being one. It ain't over yet, particularly of they win tonight and finish the tough trip 2-1.

One of the main things I do (including today after the game) is controlled burning here in the California mountains to mitigate future wildfire on and around our land once fire season starts.
Even a 20 mph wind can really kick a blaze into high gear, just imagine what a full on hurricane could do....
GFG, I don't care where they draft.

Wildfires can actually produce their own fire weather within the blaze and create fire whirls on their own too. This is known as "the Pospisil Effect"

A friend who is an Oilers fanboy reminded me he was in Carolina and watched them lose the cup to the Hurricanes in 2006. Rod the Bod will always have a special place.

If they can only get as high as 8th overall by suddenly sucking then I'd prefer keeping the playoff hopes alive a little longer.
If they're not within reach of the wildcard in the last two weeks of the season, they can lose then. For now let's go wins!
