Strudwick is a pretty decent analyst. Wayyyy better then Remenda and whatever other clown they pulled off the street last year.
But can we PLEASE pump the breaks on the random female analysts just because of their gender? If this is an absolute requirement, where is Leah Hextall or Andi Pettrullo or even the one from the Toronto radio broadcast (forget her name, I'll edit when I find it).

Maybe, and work with me here, the broadcasters just like those analysts more than you do. Unless you’ve seen some internal memo mandating females be hired just because of their gender.
After all, they hire guys like Stewart, Remenda, etc. I don’t like them but I imagine some honcho did.

Internal memo or not, Sportsnet has made a point of having female analysts in studio this year. Nurse, Botterill, Mikkelsson, etc.
This wasn't a thing last season as far as I can remember.
